With New Year’s Eve come and gone I decided to take some time to look forward to what I want to accomplish out of the year. I wanted to set actual, attainable, and measurable goals for myself. Not just things like, “travel more” and “make money from freelancing”
I wanted goals that I could put down on paper, (err, screen?) and commit myself to. Because that is the only way this business is going to grow, if I stop being afraid, start pitching, and contact potential clients.
So, I am so glad you are all here to follow along on my journey from part-time customer service library clerk, to full-time freelancer!
As they say, this is going to be our year.

So there are my goals for the first part of 2019. I plan to keep updating you month by month so you can see that it is possible to grow a business as a freelancer (and to keep myself accountable of course)
So tune in Feb. 1 to see how things are going.

A [free]lancer is someone who has chosen to work for themselves for the independence and freedom that comes with it.
